Pilates Reformer Classes

If you have a body, then there’s a Pilates class that’s right for you. One that will reshape, rehabilitate, and recharge you.  One that will give you long, lean muscles, strong, flexible joints and a graceful, confident  movement pattern. But how do you know which one is the one for you?

Easy. You’ll find there’s a Pilates class designed for every level. From introductory classes for beginners all the way up to advanced.

There are classes for people trying to recover from an injury and classes for people who are trying to avoid one.

Classes are always designed around the needs of the clients.  Excellent benefits of working with a small and client centered studio.  Attention to detail is a must.

REFORMER CLASSES

Personalized instruction is the heart of Align Studio. We offer Reformer and Chair classes for all levels and abilities. Classes are 60 minutes for traditional Pilates classes.  Burn is a 50 minute class.

Reformer Class & Combo Chair – This class is done on perhaps the most renowned of all Pilates equipment, the Reformer. The Reformer is a sophisticated system of springs, straps, pulleys and a rolling platform. This equipment, like all of the Pilates equipment, works in two ways: It can act as additional muscles to aid the body on its path to health while you work towards efficient movement patterns, and it can also provide resistance to build strong muscles and bones. No experience is necessary for beginners; equipment adjustment and changes are explained and demonstrated throughout the class.  The Chair’s unique and versatile design enables everyone to enjoy a beneficial workout – from the most injured client, who uses it to rehabilitate – to the most advanced students challenging themselves with pushups, backbends, and headstands. Because many of the chair exercises are done sitting or standing up, it is ideal for practicing and improving balance. No experience is necessary for beginners; equipment adjustment and changes are explained and demonstrated throughout the class.  Limited to 3 participants at Burt Rd #14 studio and 6 participants at Southland studio.

Burn–  This Reformer based class is body length and strength training will change your body. See what the West coast studios are offering in this class.  This class is a low-impact, high-intensity group reformer workout that melds together cardio, weight training, and traditional Pilates. Our Reformers are enhanced with jump boards and props for this class. High-energy music, quick sequence of exercises keep the heart rate elevated and your body burning mega calories!  WARNING- If you have any limitation (Back Issues- etc must be approved by Instructor to attend class***Limited to 4 participants at Burt Rd #15 studio.

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

We offer personal private training for a workout customized just for you. Your personal Pilates instructor can give you a great intro to Pilates, help with injuries, or inspire you to meet your fitness goals.

Some private sessions are required before moving into Duets or Classes if you have not worked on the Pilates apparatus before.

DUET SESSIONS  (SEMI-PRIVATE)

Enjoy a session with your friend or another clients with similar goals.

Two clients with one instructor provides a less expensive alternative to clients who are familiar with their program but would still like personalized attention and guidance. It is also a great way to share a workout with a friend!

TRIO SESSIONS  (YOUR OWN CLASS)

Gather 2 friends and we can create a class for you.  Individual instruction for three clients.  Allows for flexibility in your schedules to work towards your fitness goals with like-minded friends, and great conversation.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Classes require a 12-hour cancellation notice and Privates and Semi-Privates require a 12-hour cancellation notice. If you do not cancel in advance you will be automatically charged for the class or session.  All other classes are charged the full class price. If you late cancel and someone from the waitlist gets your spot, you are still charged for the late cancel. To cancel a class you may cancel by phone or send an email to studio@alignstudio.net.  Sorry, no exceptions

WAIT LIST POLICY

There are 3 spots on the waitlist. Adding your name to the wait list provides you a great opportunity to get into class! We will contact you via email or phone if a spot opens up and you can decide if you want to join the class. Call us to confirm (or we’ll call you) or we will offer it to the next person on the list. If you want to stop by to see if there is a no show, please do so.
